Cloud Features Dominate 2014 POS Trends

The latest edition of Hospitality Technology Magazine includes the Top 2014 POS Software Trends, and cloud-based features are at the top of the list.  Standard Brink POS features, such as centralized access to real-time data, loyalty tools and mobile device support are in hot demand.

"There is a shift happening surrounding the point of sale. Operators are casting off the shackles of static POS terminals due mainly to an ever-increasing demand from mobiledevice-minded customers who want things when and how they desire."

"Hospitality Technology’s annual POS Software Trends Report polls restaurant operators about the major business drivers influencing point of sale technology, and asks them about the functionality they’ll be shopping for in their next POS upgrade. This year’s results overwhelmingly indicate that restaurant operators and suppliers alike are focusing on mobile POS strategies, and are looking to add everything from mobile payment to tablet-based ordering to their repertoires."

Going Cashless Improves Customer Experience
